GEOGRAPHY

Located in the south-west of the Iberian Peninsula, Seville (or Sevilla) is the capital of the Autonomous Region of Andalucía. Seville's topography is made up of three different areas: the northern mountain range, the central agricultural zone and the fertile plains of the Guadalquivir river, and finally the marshes with the beginning of the important Doñana wildlife nature reserve. The climate is Mediterranean with an average temperature of 26º C in summer and an average of 12º C in winter. There is a steady breeze during spring and summer and very little rain during autumn.
